We believe in the absolute authority, divine inspiration, and infallibility of the Holy Scriptures. The Word of God is our final authority in all matters concerning faith, doctrine, conduct, and Christian living.
We believe that the supernatural power of God remains active today through the Holy Spirit, including healing, miracles, signs, wonders, prophecy, deliverance, and every biblical manifestation of His power, all for the glory of Jesus Christ and the edification of His Church.
We believe in the Great Commission as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ to go into all the world, preach the Gospel to every creature, make disciples of all nations, baptise believers, and teach them to observe all that Christ has commanded.
The mission of Christ Congress is to glorify Jesus Christ, to make Him known, and to raise a generation that faithfully reflects His character, walks in His power, and lives in unwavering obedience to His Word.
We fulfil this mission by preaching the Gospel to every creature, making disciples of all nations, baptising believers, teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded, and cultivating a community marked by love, honour, truth, faithfulness, and genuine fellowship under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
In all that we do, we seek to glorify Jesus Christ, proclaim His Gospel, demonstrate His power, and prepare people for His visible, glorious, and imminent return.
For the purposes of this Constitution, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:

The Church – The universal body of believers in Jesus Christ and, where the context requires, Christ Congress as a local church and charitable organisation.
The Holy Scriptures – The divinely inspired, infallible, and authoritative Scriptures consisting of the Old and New Testaments, which are the final authority in all matters concerning faith, doctrine, conduct, and Christian living.
The Word of God – The Holy Scriptures as revealed by God through the Old and New Testaments, containing His truth, His will, and His instruction for humanity, and serving as the final authority for faith, doctrine, conduct, and Christian living.
The Gospel – The good news that Jesus Christ died for the sins of humanity, was buried, rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures, and through His precious blood provides redemption, forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, and eternal life to all who repent and believe in Him.
Disciple – A follower of Jesus Christ who seeks to live a life of continual repentance, holiness, humility, integrity, love, and faithful obedience, reflecting the character of Christ in both private and public life.
The Great Commission – The command given by the Lord Jesus Christ to go into all the world, preach the Gospel to every creature, make disciples of all nations, baptise believers, and teach them to observe all that He has commanded.
The Holy Spirit – The third Person of the Trinity, who indwells every believer, empowers the Church, distributes spiritual gifts, transforms lives into the likeness of Christ, and enables believers to walk in righteousness, boldness, and supernatural power.
Praise – The joyful expression of honour, thanksgiving, admiration, and exaltation offered to God in recognition of who He is and all that He has done.
Worship – The wholehearted devotion, reverence, love, and surrender offered to God through one's life, prayers, praise, obedience, and service, acknowledging Jesus Christ alone as Lord and worthy of all honour, glory, and worship.
The Kingdom of God – The sovereign reign and rule of God through Jesus Christ, presently experienced by believers and ultimately established in its fullness upon His glorious return.
Ministry – Every work undertaken by Christ Congress to glorify God through worship, prayer, biblical teaching, discipleship, evangelism, pastoral care, charitable activities, community outreach, and every other biblically consistent expression of Christian service.
